is here, and players will be eager to get into the meat of the long-anticipated game. The opening Chapter 1 (Nibelheim), sets the scene after the end of looking into Cloud's past. It sees Cloud venture to his home of Nibelheim, for a chapter that roughly takes a couple of hours to complete, however, this chapter can be skipped.

The opening chapter of introduces you to the game's mechanics, which includes combat tutorials. It also offers you the first chance to explore and features heavy story elements that set up the journey ahead. However, the Nibelheim chapter was one element of the Demo, which allowed players to try out the first section of the game, so many will have already explored everything it has to offer before launch.

You can only skip Chapter 1 if you have completed the Nibelheim portion of the Demo .

To enable the option to skip Chapter 1 in, go to the Bonuses section in the main menu. If you select Check Saved Data, you will be awarded the option to skip the first chapter if you want to. This will allow you to miss the majority of the first chapter of the game, but you will still need to start a new game and play through the initial opening sequence and the final part of Nibelheim in the village.

Alongside the ability to skip a portion of the opening sequence, completing the Nibelheim section of the demo will also unlock, the Kupo Charm and a Survival set. You do not have to have completed The Junon section of the demo, to be able to skip the chapter or unlock the additional rewards. It is easy to skip Chapter 1 in as long as you have played the demo.
