is an open-world, first-person, survival shooter that tasks you with building yourself a safe place to survive the apocalypse; along the way,you'll need to learn how to craft using a forge to upgrade and improve tools and weapons. As you play and the game gets harder, your predicament will become clear. The scraps of wood and metal you find around are good enough to get started, but won't keep you safe from zombies forever.

In order to make your defenses stronger, you'll need to unlock, build, and use the forge. To unlock it, you'll need to upgrade your Blacksmithing or Workstation skills or use console commands to cheat. You need to be Workstation level five or Blacksmith level one to unlock the forge for the first time, but before you can use it, you'll need to craft it.

Smart progression is essential for survival in 7 Days to Die. Players must ensure they develop an adaptive playstyle to survive the zombie hordes.
