The Disruptor Gear Set in will take a fair amount of effort to earn, if you want the ability. It is a good outfit for more combat-based missions. The whole set is found in one location, but you willhave to finish all the pieces of the mission to get it, after which you will be able to earn a trophy.
Across the planets of and in space, you will need to find a fair amount of transmissions. There is no shortcut for this one, which is likely due to the fact that it is one of two secret trophies in the game, the other one being related to the Scoundrel Gear Set which you can find in a similar fashion. If you complete the quest line and find the Disruptor Gear,you will also earn the trophy Old School Cool.

There are 16 transmissions that must be found in orbit in order for you to finish the mission. While you can work through parts of the quest upon finding certain transmissions, it is recommended that you wait until you have found all 16 before trying to start the quest. This will allow you to finish it faster and keep you from getting too sidetracked.
