Shadowbeak is a strong Dark element and is only found at a very high level, making it a tough task to catch one. However, it is worth the effort, as it is one of the best Pals in the game for traveling and also in combat. While some Pals can only be obtained in day or night, Shadowbeak can be found at either time.

There are two methods to getting a Shadowbeak in either by catching one or by breeding two Pals together. Catching it can be tricky, as its location is one of the toughest places to get to on Palpagos Island. It is also a very rare spawn, so even once you have traveled to the right location there is no guarantee it will appear every time.

In the North East corner of the map is the island No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can find Shadowbeak

You will need to go to a nearby point from the main central island and fly or swim to get across to the Sanctuary. As Shadowbeak is a Pal designed for the end game in, it can be very tricky to catch without a strong Dragon element to weaken it quickly. The other Pals you will encounter while visiting this location will also be at a very high level, so you need to be fully prepared.

The other, and possibly easier way to get a hold of a Shadowbeak, is through breeding. If you can catch opposite versions of Astegon and Kitsun, they can combine at a breeding farm to yield an egg that will hatch a Shadowbeak. However, this is the only combination to breed one, unless you already have two Shadowbeaks. Neither of these two Pals are straightforward to get, but this can be done at a much lower level than if you venture to the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary.
