How To Get Pecharunt In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Epilogue

You can catch the Mythical Pokémon Pecharunt in ’s Epilogue if you follow the appropriate steps. After The 's release, Nintendo added an Epilogue called, which concludes the story of the first Generation 9 titles. The bulk of this Epilogue episode takes place in the land of Kitakami, from the first expansion.

This article contains spoilers for the events of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Epilogue: Mochi Mayhem.

There, players will experience a short story involving a mystery plaguing Mossui Town's residents and will have the chance to encounter and catch Pecharunt. Pecharunt is a dual Poison- and Ghost-type Pokémon that has been pulling some strings for a while and is associated with the Legendary Pokémon Ogerpon, also from the land of Kitakami. Before catching Pecharunt, however, you will have to unlock its encounter.

To unlock your encounter with Pecharunt and eventually catch it, you will first need to progress through the story of Mochi Mayhem. To get started, you will need to claim a Key Item called Mythical Pecha Berry from the Mystery Gift function and then interact with a pink plush doll at Peachy’s store, right next to the Community Center in the land of Kitakami. This will start ’s Epilogue.

You can claim the Key Item from Mystery Gift before finishing the DLCs, but you will need to wrap up the main story of The Indigo Disk before being able to initiate the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue.

You will have to progress through the short hour-long campaign, enduring a series of tough battles against several trainers, including some of your own allies, who have fallen under the influence of Pecharunt’s Toxic Chain.
