How To Get Celestial Nighthawk In Destiny 2 (Best Builds & Stats)

Celestial Nighthawk is aclassic; introduced on release, this Hunter exotic quickly became meta for any situation where you need a lot of damage. This exotic's perk, Hawkeye Hack, has a few benefits. The first is that it combines all your Gunslinger Golden Gun shots into one shot, empowering it to do truly massive damage. Secondly, precision kills reduce your super cooldown, meaning you have even more uptime on that considerable damage. Like Subracers are for Warlocks, Celestial Nighthawk is a staple of the Hunter class.

Celestial has been huge in the raid and dungeon scene since its inception, but now, with the release of Still Hunt, it's even more powerful. Still, Hunt is a exotic allowing you to hold the reload button to activate Golden Gun, regardless of class. This allows Hunters running Gunslinger already to have two Golden Guns on demand and, even better, two Celestial Nighthawk-empowered Golden Guns on command. To some players' dismay, the Celestial/Still Hunt setup is becoming a must-have for raid encounters, so here's how to find it.

Microcosm is the first of its kind in Destiny 2. Not only is this weapon an Exotic Heavy Trace Rifle, but it also deals Kinetic damage.

Like other world-drop exotics, Celestial Nighthawk is a random drop from any Exotic Engrams you canget while playing missions in. There's not much you can do to increase your chances of an exotic dropping, although high-end content like GM Nightfalls is likelier to have them drop.

You can also complete pinnacle activities to increase this chance, but it is up to luck. Once you've gotten your engram, head back to Rahool.

Master Rahool's engram focusing has changed a little in Instead of turning in exotic engrams and hoping you get the drop you want, you can now spend Ascendant Shards and Exotic Ciphers to pick which Exotic you'd like. Once you've got the materials needed, go to Rahool with your engram and decode it into a Celestial Nighthawk.
