Honkai: Star Rail Player Suggests Smart Quality-Of-Life Feature For Buffs

One Honkai: Star Rail fan has asked HoYoverse to bring a quality-of-life feature that helps players keep track of buffs on their characters, and others seem to love the idea. Honkai: Star Rail gears up to release version 2.1, which will mark the game's first anniversary according to the schedule. It's difficult to predict what rewards will be given to players, though some leaks have suggested a free copy of a five-star character will be available in the second phase of 2.1.

Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based game where buffs and debuffs have a crucial role in combat. They either help players clear hordes of enemies or add to the difficulty. For example, Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe features formidable enemies that debuff allies and decrease their defensive capabilities. However, players usually utilize characters who can remove debuffs on their teammates and provide buffs to make the entire party more powerful.

One Honkai: Star Rail player known on Reddit as Clean_Hold7583 suggested HoYoverse add a quality-of-life feature to make it easier to identify buffs on characters during combat. They designed a concept inspired by the collectible card game Shadowverse, and it looks like an overhauled real-time combat view screen can help players keep track of buffs and other effects on their units. Instead of just stacking effects under each other, Honkai: Star Rail's real-time combat viewer should give more information about them, such as who they are coming from.

The concept suggests there is no need for a banner-wide image on the screen. Instead, the major part of the screen can be used to show valuable details on buffs and debuffs, including how many rounds they will end. Knowing who buffs/debuffs are from is quite a challenge, as Honkai: Star Rail's real-time combat viewer doesn't give that information directly.

This isn't the first time Honkai: Star Rail players have demanded changes from the developers. A few months ago, they voted for the four-star character
