Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Boothill's Gameplay Animations

A Honkai: Star Rail leak has given players a glimpse into Boothill's combat animations. Honkai: Star Rail recently released the version 2.1 update, which introduced players to new units like Acheron and Gallagher. The latest update has brought with it limited-time events and rerun banners for Pella, Luocha, and Dan Heng. As confirmed in a livestream last week, the second phase of version 2.1 will replace Acheron and Gallagher with Aventurine on April 17.

Following the conclusion of version 2.1, Boothill and Robin will finally make their debut in Honkai: Star Rail. They will be promoted in different parts of update 2.2 alongside several four-star rerun characters. As per the HoYo team's schedule, Honkai: Star Rail's update 2.2 will go live in early May.

Although Boothill's debut in Honkai: Star Rail is still weeks away, his gameplay animations have already leaked online. As seen in the footage shared by Dimbreath, Boothill has a mechanical left arm, a cowboy hat, long hair, and a thin body. He uses a revolver with his right hand, performs a straight heel kick, and activates a burst mode to fire a number of bullets at enemies. Moreover, after the revolver's burst mode ends, Boothill performs a charged attack by turning his left hand into a weapon.

Honkai: Star Rail's Boothill is described as a cyborg cowboy who treads the path of Hunt. He uses Physical as his element and boasts a unique design that reminds fans of characters in Western movies. Besides, the five-star unit possesses incredible damage-dealing abilities and increases Weakness Break Efficiency.

Leaks about Honkai: Star Rail's update 2.2 are centered around the upcoming characters, giving fans a glimpse into their skill sets and team roles. One of these leaks suggests that Robin and Boothill will take the role of the buffer and the main damage dealer, respectively. Robin's kit will reportedly boost her allies' ATK and CRIT DMG for several turns, while Boothill's skill set will inflict a Physical Weakness effect
