A Honkai: Star Rail leak showcases gameplay for Aventurine that players will encounter in version 2.1. Although Honkai: Star Rail is in version 2.0 at the moment, there are already leaks about the next version, which will supposedly offer freebies in celebration of the game's anniversary. It's being speculated that at least eight characters will be obtainable in an event-exclusive selector during update 2.1.

As per some version 2.1 leaks, Honkai: Star Rail will go beyond introducing Aventurine as a boss and bring a new Type for Trailblazers. Not to mention, these leaks should never be taken so seriously, since they are always subject to change.
A new Honkai: Star Rail leak, shared on a Chinese Telegram channel, showed gameplay footage of Aventurine, giving players an idea of what to expect from the upcoming boss. From the looks of things, players will need a decent team that features at least one top-tier DPS character to defeat Aventurine. Considering the boss fight consists of multiple phases, Honkai: Star Rail players would be advised to use sustain-type units to increase the team's survivability.
When HoYoverse launched the official drip marketing campaign for Honkai: Star Rail's Aventurine, many fans expected him to become playable in the first phase of version 2.1.
