Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals Version 2.2 Reruns
Spoilers ahead for Honkai: Star Rail's storyA Honkai: Star Rail leak revealed the rumored character reruns for Version 2.2. The upcoming Honkai: Star Rail update will continue the Trailblazer's adventure in Penacony, and is expected to uncover more secrets within the Dreamscape.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 will include 5-star banner characters Robin and Boothill. Robin was introduced at the beginning of the Astral Express Crew's journey to Penacony, where she welcomed them to the Reverie Hotel alongside her brother Sunday. Meanwhile, Boothill has yet to make an appearance in the game, but players get to hear his voice during a phone call with Black Swan in Version 2.1's story.
Along with the banner characters for Version 2.2, a Honkai: Star Rail leak from Somnus revealed that Topaz, Fu Xuan, or Argenti will be the rerun characters for this update. HoYoverse hasn't confirmed the news yet as it usually makes important announcements during Honkai: Star Rail's Special Program Stream, so fans should take this information with a grain of salt.
Many Honkai: Star Rail fans expressed their excitement over the leak, especially since the rumored rerun characters seem to have great synergy with Robin and Boothill. As for the second phase, many believe that it will be Fu Xuan since she's an older character from Version 1.3, who has yet to receive a rerun. Plus, considering that Boothill is a Physical-type DPS character, some think it makes sense for the rerun character to focus on defense.
Topaz was previously leaked as a Honkai: Star Rail rerun alongside Aventurine, who is the upcoming 5-star banner character in the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1. It made sense at the time, since the characters are colleagues in the Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC), but the rerun character for this phase turned out to be Jingliu.
