Honkai: Star Rail Devs Reveal How Much Of The Story Is Actually Plotted Out
Developers of revealed how much of the game’s story is already planned for the upcoming years – and how much of that is open to changes. The turn-based RPG is completing its first anniversary in late April, during Version 2.1, as it proceeds deeper into the Trailblaze Missions set in Penacony. So far, the crew of the Astral Express had visited Herta Space Station (where the adventure begins), Jarilo-VI’s Belobog, and the Xianzhou Luofu. Now, the Planet of Festivities offers players an entirely new experience.
Now, with the progress through Penacony, it is only natural to question how much of the story is already planned. In an interview with, the game’s devs answered that very question, offering more insight into the roadmap for the popular RPG. According to the team, they have “” for the future that are unlikely to change drastically, but that is not a guarantee – the development team reveals that there is room for changes to the story of the Trailblazer in .
As stated by the developers during the interview, based on their plans, “” As such, the direction the overarching story is taking will likely not change during the course of development, making it safe to assume that most of the adventures led by the Trailblazer and the Astral Express are already outlined. Nevertheless, ’s story is subject to slight changes, as stated by the devs:
“In general, while we have detailed plans, the development of the story still has a certain flexibility and room for change. We will make appropriate adjustments based on the circumstances to ensure that the story presented to the players meets our expectations and fulfills their wishes.”
