From the many different wizarding schools, to important events such as the founding of Hogwarts itself, there are plenty of time periods that a sequel could draw from. With so much lore to delve into, it's hard to predict exactly which direction it'll go in.

Fortunately, there are some key events which are likely to be the foundation for a sequel, or at least are obvious contenders. Among the many things needs to add, one major event stands out as a perfect starting point. It brings together the three main European schools, and would serve as the perfect backdrop for a mystery or even the rise of a great evil.
