Here’s every game confirmed to be enhanced by PS5 Pro

Sony has announced several of the games that will be supported by PlayStation 5 Pro.

PS5 Pro will launch on November 7, 2024, with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $699.99 / £699.99 / €799.99 / ¥119,980, Sony announced on Tuesday.

The company has published a list of the games that are confirmed to support the PlayStation 5 Pro. This list is incomplete, as Sony claims that “around 50” games will be enhanced on the system when it launches in November.  The current list is:

System lead Mark Cerny detailed some of the specific upgrades that will come to games during Tuesday’s live stream. For example, Horizon Forbidden West will now run at 4K at 60FPS. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will target “a super smooth 60 frames per second.”

PS5 Pro will “double the power,” of PlayStation 5 Pro in titles like The Last of Us and Ratchet and Clank. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have an improved level of detail at 60 frames per second.

Horizon Forbidden West will also have “improvements to lighting and visual effects, as well as to the hair and skin in cinematics.”

Gran Turismo 7 will now feature Ray-Traced reflections between cars during gameplay, while “continuing to support its targetted 60 frames per second.” According to CNET, Sony showed off Gran Turismo running at 8K on an 80-inch screen. It’s unclear if that will be supported when the PS5 Pro version ships.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is another title that will take advantage of the new system. The game will have an increased level of detail and fidelity while maintaining 60 frames per second.

Games that aren’t officially supported by the PS5 Pro via patches will still receive upgrades via PS5 Pro Game Boost, which can apply to more than 8,500 backwards compatible PS4 games playable on PS5 Pro.

“This feature may stabilize or improve the performance of supported PS4 and PS5 games,” Sony said. “Enhanced Image Quality for PS4 games is also available to improve the resolution on select PS4 games.”
