A dedicated member of the Helldivers 2 community has uncovered exactly how many medals players need to receive in order to unlock all items in the game. In order to progress in Helldivers 2, players must unlock medals, which allow them to purchase a wide variety of items, weapons, and capes. Players can acquire medals by completing missions or by finding them in the field during an actual game, making them one of the most valuable items in Helldivers 2.

Like most online-focused multiplayer games, Helldivers 2 features a timed progression system. This pass, called a Warbond, allows players to pick and choose what weapons and cosmetic items they want as long as they have enough medals to purchase them. Players will need 2,015 medals to complete the free pass and will need 686 medals to complete the paid version. Helldivers 2 hands out these medals during gameplay, but that doesn't mean everything in the game is free. Much like its peers, Helldivers 2 has an in-game currency known as Super Credits. These allow players to purchase special, limited-time armor pieces in the in-game shop.
