Helldivers 2 Plans to ‘Overhaul’ the Reward System

Developer Arrowhead Game Studios has announced its plans to overhaul the Helldivers 2 reward system in response to players' reports of delayed and missing medal payouts. The statement also confirms that efforts are underway to rectify the current issues with medals in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Available for PlayStation 5 and Windows, the game transitions to a third-person perspective and introduces new gameplay elements. Featuring up to four-player cooperative multiplayer with cross-play between platforms, Helldivers 2 incorporates a permanent battle pass system and a narrative set a century after humanity's victory over various threats. Community manager Twinbeard addressed concerns over missing Helldivers 2 Major Orders medals, acknowledging the system's issues, which have been persisting for a considerable period. According to Twinbeard’s statement, medals for two out of the latest three major orders have already been shipped to players. The remaining batch is scheduled to roll out within a specific timeframe, either in 16 hours or at a designated time on April 10th, depending on certain factors.
