Helldivers 2 Confirms the Multi-Liberation System Isn't Working As Intended Yet

Helldivers 2 developers confirmed the multi-planet liberation system was not yet implemented in the live servers. Since release, players have attempted to maximize their strength by diverting manpower to the objectives that provided the most gains for the Galactic War effort. In response to the Helldivers 2 fan base's tactical brainstorming, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed it intended to add a way for the community to secure multiple planets simultaneously.

Planets and invasions in Helldivers 2 work on a hidden supply line mechanic, which connects all the solar bodies in a system together in an invisible network. When invading a system, players needed to establish a foothold by conquering a gateway planet and securing a steady stream of supplies from Super Earth to the front before expanding their invasion to other worlds. If successful, the defense of Martale should indirectly secure the connected planet of Charon Prime by cutting off the Automaton's supplies, awarding Helldivers with an automatic win by the gambit's logic.

There's no specific date for when the multi-liberation mechanic is expected to hit live servers, so as things stand, even if players successfully defended Martale, Charon Prime would remain under threat if
