Halo Infinite Adds New Content Inspired by TV Series

Halo Infinite has added a helmet and helmet visor inspired by Paramount's TV show. One of the Halo Infinite items can be obtained by simply logging in, while the other will require some more playtime.

Recently, Halo Infinite launched a significant update that added a new operation, arena map, forge features, and more. The new map, Illusion, is a unique stage that features a camo-inducing central hallway, which allows for interesting gameplay opportunities. Its level designers described it as a «love letter» to Halo: Combat Evolved's map design, which featured similarly unique levels. Going into the future, it seems thatHalo Infinite will be making more references to other parts of the Halo franchise.

Halo Infinite released two items based on the Halo show's Riz-028 character. Her reddish helmet visor can be unlocked by simply logging into Halo Infinite and her helmet can be unlocked by completing this week's ultimate challenge, which runs from February 6th to February 13th. To begin completing the ultimate challenge, users must first complete the regular weekly challenges. This week's ultimate challenge requires users to kill five enemies with sniper rifles in a single game or earn one No Scope medal. Additionally, Halo Infinite previously confirmed that more cosmetics inspired by the Halo show will be added to the game soon. From February 20 to February 27th, players can earn Vannak-134's helmet.

Last week, players could earn Kai-125's helmet as well by completing that week's ultimate challenge. However, the free offer is no longer available. Many Halo fans who didn't enjoy the show's controversial first season are hoping that Halo season 2 will be an improvement. Master Chief actor Pablo Schreiber seemed to encourage this possibility by explaining thatHalo season 2 features plenty of changes from the previous season. Regardless of the show's quality, many Halo fans are probably excited to be receiving free new helmets to unlock.
