Pearls are a rare but useful ingredient that only comes from one source in the entire game. Obtaining and farming pearls is far from easy, but knowing where to find this rare resource is essential.

Reagents differ in rarity. Moly, Deathcaps, Silver, Limestone, and more fairly common reagents that players can acquire by moving from room to room. Other reagents are only dropped by specific mobs. For Pearls, 's Melinoeneeds to repeatedly slay one boss in particular to acquire this item. Bosses are challenging tests that act as gatekeepers for the next region. Although difficult to obtain, pearls are required to unlock useful assets to help you on your next run.

Hades is known for its outstanding single player experience, but Hades 2 could unite the Underworld siblings in an epic co-op experience.

The only way to acquire Pearls is to defeat Scylla and the Sirens. The siren rock band trio Scylla and the Sirens are the final bosses of the Oceanus zone. This is the second zone in, unlocked after you have defeated the Witch Headmistress Hecate and descended further into the Underworld.

This immensely challenging fight requires Melinoe to take on three powerful enemies at once. Much like Cinders, which drop from Headmistress Hecate, Scylla and the Sirens are the only source of pearls.

There are plenty of nuances to Scylla and the Siren’s boss fight. You can take out band members one at a time in this fight. Generally, it’s best to take out the drummer, the guitarist, and finally, the singer in that order.

You will receive your Pearl reward whenever you beat Scylla and the Sirens before moving on to the next region. Considering that every new run starts you back off at Erebus, you will likely encounter the siren rockstars multiple times before you eventually finish. This gives you plenty of opportunities to farm pearls and get accustomed to
