Ghost of Tsushima PC Has PlayStation’s Third-Highest Peak Player Count, Beating Horizon, TLOU, and More

Following the game's PC release yesterday, PlayStation's Ghost of Tsushima is off to a good start on PC.

The PC version of the 2020 PS4 (and PS5) title was launched through Steam yesterday, and despite a PSN account requirement for the game's online mode, the game quickly claimed the third spot when it comes to peak player numbers for PlayStation-published PC titles. At the moment of writing, the game had an all-time peak of nearly 58.000 concurrent players, thereby beating other high-profile PlayStation Studios titles, including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Horizon: Forbidden West, The Last of Us Part 1, Days Gone, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Currently, the CCU peak for Ghost of Tsushima is only being bested by God of War and, without much of a surprise, Helldivers 2. Right now, nearly 40.000 PC players are playing the game.

Beyond the main tale and the aforementioned 'ally' side content, there are also a great number of secondary tales. Sucker Punch devised a rather
