Ghost of Tsushima: Best Things to Do After Beating The Game

features a surprisingly content-rich postgame, giving players lots of different things to do after beating the game. After finishing Act 3, Jin is free to explore Tsushima to complete side quests, find collectibles, and hunt down any survivors of the Mongol invasion force. There's plenty to keep players occupied after the credits roll.

Players have lots of postgame content, including tackling the game's excellent expansion and enjoying the game's online co-op mode. Options such as Japanese voiceover, Lethal Mode difficulty, and the stylistic black and white Kurosawa mode filter also make a New Game Plus playthrough more compelling. However, with so many options available, it can be difficult to figure out exactly where to start.

All across Tsushima, Jin can find people in need of aid. The game features a total of 61 Tales of Tsushima: side quests where Jin can offer his skills to the common people of Tsushima. These side quests provide a great deal of insight into the impact of the Mongol invasion on the local population. Betrayal, collaboration with the enemy, and loss are all common themes, but a few are also surprisingly tongue-in-cheek.

Particularly excellent quests include the questlines of Jin's allies. Jin can help archery master Sensei Ishikawa hunt down his wayward apprentice Tomoe, or help the warrior monk Norio find a balance between monastic non-violence and the need to defend his home.

Mythic Tales are its best feature: side quests narrated by a mysterious storyteller. Through Mythic Tales, Jin obtains powerful abilities such as the legendary Heavenly Strike technique in encounters that blur the line between natural and supernatural.

With the death of the Khan, the Mongol invasion force cannot achieve their plan of attacking mainland Japan. However, the remaining Mongols continue to roam Tsushima in roving warbands threatening civilians, and Jin can find their encampments all over the island.
