Ghost Of Tsushima 2, Ghost Of Yotei, Revealed In Stunning Trailer Confirming New Protagonist & Setting

, officially known as, has officially been revealed at the latest PlayStation State of Play with a stunning trailer. is one of PlayStation's biggest new franchises and sent the PS4 generation out with a bang in 2020. The samurai game was praised for its satisfying gameplay and vivid world that depicted Tsushima's beauty, but contrasted it with bloodshed and destruction. Fans have been clamoring for a sequel for years now and Sucker Punch is finally ready to deliver on that.

During the PlayStation State of Play, Sony finally announced and confirmed it will release in 2025. The sequel is known as and follows a new hero known as Atsu in the area of Mount Yōtei. In a PlayStation Blog post, Sucker Punch confirmed that will take place in 1603, over 300 years after so don't expect any appearance from Jin Sakai. The developer noted it aimed to embrace the idea of the Ghost as a symbol or moniker, rather than one specific character. You can view the trailer below.
