Genshin Impact Fishing: Every Fish Type & What Bait To Use
Released in ’s Version 2.1 update, fishing is a Game System that requires players to craft bait in order to catch different types of fish. To fish, players must first unlock ’s Serenitea Pot and complete a World Quest regarding an NPC, Nantuck, who is from the Mondstadt Fishing Association. Then, players will only need bait and a suitable fishing location to begin. Apart from the event-exclusive Glowgrass Bait used to catch the limited Ornamental Moonfin fish, there are four types of bait that are currently used for fishing in.
This includes the Fruit Paste Bait, Redrot Bait, False Worm Bait, and Fake Fly Bait. Bait type is important as different fish will be attracted to a specific type of bait. There are Fishing Points all around Teyvat, and players can easily mark their locations on ’s map with the added Hook Pin. Fishing Points with available fish will be indicated by a ripple effect in the water. When there are no fish available, the ripple effect will disappear. New fish will respawn every 72 hours.
Genshin Impact's new Dendro nation of Sumeru is home to seven brand-new Fishing Spots and an array of new fish. Here's every Fishing Spot in Sumeru.
