Galaxy S25 Ultra Tipped To Be The Lighest Flagship Amongst All Of Its Competitors, Including The Upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max

Samsung has been reported on a few occasions to tweak the design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra to make it similar to the Galaxy Note 7, which only means that we should prepare ourselves to say goodbye to those sharp corners and welcome the rounded ones. Those patiently waiting to get their hands on the flagship next year may also notice that it carries less weight than competing products, and that is because, according to a tipster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be lighter than even the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The information posted by Ice Universe on X also mentioned that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would be lighter than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which was expected, as the latter is made up of a combination of glass and aluminum, not titanium. However, the latest rumor pretty much states that the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which weighs in at 232 grams, will be heavier than its successor. However, it remains to be seen if the Galaxy S25 Ultra can be lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which weighs 221 grams.

Overall, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to have a display size of 6.86 inches, and it is rumored to match the body width of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It is also nearly 100 percent confirmed that Samsung will retain a titanium shell on the upcoming flagship because that is the only way the company can make the flagship lighter. However, the Korean giant is not expected to use a different kind of material to bring down that weight.
