A recent leak has revealed that Sifu will be one of the free PlayStation Plus games for March 2024. They will then be added to the subscription service on Tuesday, March 5, with subscribers having until April 2 to snag them for their collection.
While PS Plus subscribers have to wait for Wednesday, February 28 to know for sure what the March 2024 free games are, sometimes the lineup leaks ahead of time. While there are many supposed «leakers» that have claimed to reveal the free PS Plus games in advance, leaker billbil-kun is one of the most reliable. According to billbil-kun, popular martial arts game Sifu will headline the free PS Plus games for March 2024 lineup. Sifu will presumably be joined by two other games, but it seems fans will have to wait for the official announcement on February 28 to learn more.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Sifu was originally released in 2022 and proved to be one of the year's surprise hits. Combining intense beat 'em up combat with challenging roguelike mechanics, Sifu has a unique gimmick where death means coming back with stronger attacks but less health as the main character ages up. Sifu reviews were mostly positive at the time of its release, and it even found itself nominated for multiple awards, including Best Action Game, Best Independent Game, and Best Fighting game at The Game Awards 2022.
Sifu originated as a PlayStation console exclusive, and so many have been waiting for it to eventually make its way to PlayStation Plus.
