Fortnite Leaks New Star Wars Event

A fresh Fortnite leak has revealed that another Star Wars event will soon be coming to the game. While further info on the latest crossover with the legendary sci-fi media juggernaut remains scant, a reputable Fortnite leaker has confirmed that the event will include at least one new cosmetic.

Epic Games' popular free-to-play title has expanded itself beyond the Battle Royale mode that it became famous for in recent months, with the addition of varied gameplay experiences like the crafting-survival of LEGO Fortnite and high-speed racing in Rocket Racing. Battle Royale still serves as Fortnite's bread and butter, however, with the recent v29.10 update bringing back the Hand Cannon, otherwise known as the Deagle.

News of an apparent Star Wars leak comes from reputable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, who has taken to Twitter to post what information they have on the event. According to the leaker, a new Mandalorian vehicle skin will be included as part of Fortnite's next Star Wars event, though it doesn't mention anything specific about it. The skin will, however, be available in both Fortnite and Rocket League, and is expected to arrive on May 4, also known as Star Wars Day. If last year's Star Wars vehicle skins for Rocket League are any indication, fans can expect something amazing.

Star Wars has an ever-increasing presence within Fortnite, or at least as of late. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 featured Ahsoka Tano as the featured skin for its Battle Pass, and later brought back Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker to the shop. Star Wars fans have also been creating content from the franchise on their own, with one prolific LEGO Fortnite player building an impressive Death Star as well as a Star Destroyer.
