Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 3 “Wrecked” Finally Launches with Fallout’s T-60 Power Armor

Fortnite has finally launched Chapter 5: Season 3, "Wrecked," and with it come the new unique points of interest and skins for all you madmen out there.

Well, instead of going through the long patch notes released by Epic Games, we'll give you guys a rundown of what to anticipate with the new season. As always, the new Wrecked season brings exciting in-game content for gamers, this time focusing more on a post-apocalyptic theme, fitting the likes of Fallout (as previously teased), with the Brotherhood of Steel's T-60 Power Armor being the most iconic Battle Pass skin.

Let's take a look at the Mad Max-esque map changes first, though. The developers said that a "sandstorm" struck Fortnite Island, creating a new biome on the south side called the "Wasteland." With that, the game sees the inclusion of three new POIs: the Redline Rig refinery, Nitrodrome arena, and Brutal Beachhead operation base, all complementing the Wasteland theme. Below is the new map with the added Wasteland biome, making the island bigger than ever.

Moving on, Fortnite has added new consumables and collectives under the "Nitro" collections, where gamers have access to "Nitro Splash" and "Nitro Barriers," both of which give a severe boost in moving speeds when applied to moving items such as players and cars. When applied to a player, Nitro allows much faster movement, explosive bashing power, higher stamina, quick reloading speeds, and fall damage immunity, giving you the feeling of a madman. Nitro for cars allows fast movement, lesser fuel consumption, and explosive ramming power.

What's a season without new weaponry? Well, Fortnite has catered to this perfectly by adding interesting weapons, with the first of them being Nitro Fists, which allows you to perform a 3x punch combo and give a "meteoric" impact when you aerial punch the ground. Nitro Fists will have a total of four chargers, with each recharging after eight seconds.
