Former James Bond Actor Has A New Choice For The Next 007

Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has shared a new name as his top choice to portray the iconic spy in the upcoming 007 movies.

Brosnan played the legendary MI6 agent in four movies and ended his reign with Die Another Day in 2002. Daniel Craig was introduced as the new 007 four years later and portrayed the character in five films. Craig's last outing as James Bond came in 2021, and since then, the creative forces behind the franchise have been looking for a new James Bond actor. Several names have been swirled around in recent years, but Brosnan believes this Academy Award-nominated actor would be phenomenal as the iconic character.

During an interview with BBC, the Black Adam star revealed that Cillian Murphy should play 007. Even though he didn’t elaborate on his answer, he said Murphy would look “magnificent” in the role. He said, “Cillian would do a magnificent job as James Bond on His Majesty's Secret Service.” This is not the first time Brosnan has opened up about who should be the next James Bond.
