Fallout: New Vegas Mod Totally Improves Companion Interactions

The Mojave Wasteland can be a quiet place and even though provides The Courier with some followers for their trek across the desert,the journey would be more pleasant if everyone could just chat. One of the most popular aspects of are the game's companions, each of whom sports a unique personality and fun quirks that make them pillars of the experience. Whether Boone's out in front dealing damage or Cass is chastizing players for the choice of drink, they bring a great deal of life to such a barren world.

Over on Nexus Mods, user Craftian shared their excellent «Party Banter» mod which does exactly what one might expect by making companions more sociable with one another. The mod features 200 lines that have been stitched together from existing dialogue to ensure that followers can idly chat while they follow The Courier to their next objective. The only pre-requisite for enjoying the mod is an additional add-on that allows for multiple companions to join the party given that the vanilla version of only allows one human follower at a time.

Fallout 4's Glowing Sea remains a bit of a mystery to players, but an NPC from Fallout: New Vegas and other older Fallout games may have the answer.

The question of ' best companion is one that's been debated by the community ever since the game launched over a decade ago and the answer is all about personal preference. There's no follower that's objectively better than another (unless combat effectiveness is the criteria, in which case Boone wins every time) and they all bring something unique to the table.
