Epic Games Store Reveals Free Game for January 25

The Epic Games Storeis giving away Infinifactory for free from January 25 to February 1. Epic Games Store users regularly have new games to claim, with freebies typically made available every Thursday at 10am CT.

Last week's Epic Games Store free game giveaway ran into an unfortunate hiccup. Sail Forth was the Epic Games Store free game from January 11 to January 18, but it was still asking users to pay for it when it was supposed to be free. This error was eventually resolved, and luckily, it seems that this week's giveaway is going off without a hitch. Epic Games Store users are able to claim the current free game with no issue, at least in our own testing.

The current Epic Games Store free game is indie platformer Love, which will be free from January 18 to January 25. Love is an extremely short game and can be completed in less than an hour, though someone going for 100% completion can expect to spend a lot more time with it. Once Love is rotated out of the Epic Games Store free games lineup on January 25, it will be replaced by the previously mentioned Infinifactory.

Infinifactory is a sandbox puzzle game where players build factories. It earned mixed reviews from critics when it first launched in 2015, but it has earned a significantly more positive reaction from fans, enjoying an «Overwhelmingly Positive» overall rating on Steam. And since Infinifactory typically retails for $24.99, Epic Games Store users should definitely make sure to snag it for free while it's part of the free games lineup.

Epic Games Store users will have until Thursday, February 1 to claim Infinifactory for their digital libraries. Come that day at 10am CT, Infinifactory will be cycled out and replaced by something else, though it's anyone's guess as to what the next free game will be. There are times when the Epic Games Store free games leak online, but it's usually a surprise from one week to the next. The games that have been given away through the Epic Games Store in 2024 so far have
