Elder Scrolls Dev Returns To Release Morrowind's Biggest New Storyline In Over 20 Years

has just got a new storyline courtesy of one of the game's original quest designers. While it has been over 20 years since was released on PC and Xbox, the title is still praised for its open-ended, varied storytelling, and is still easily playable due to subsequent digital releases on PC launchers such as Steam, and Xbox's backwards-compatibility scheme.

Douglas Goodall, who goes by AFFA on Nexus Mods, has teamed up with fellow modders Greatness7 and Melchior Dahrk to create , a mod that explores a new angle to Ashlander lore and sees players facing wild beasts and Daedric interlopers on a new journey. Goodall was one ofquest designers, having created quests for most of the game's main factions based on outlines by Lead Designer Ken Rolston, and pitched an idea for the expansion — albeit one that was reportedly different from the final product.
