Elden Ring: Where To Find All Somberstone Miner's Bell Bearings

Some armaments in will require players to gather Somber Smithing Stones, which they can buy from vendors by acquiring all Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearings. Although many of the game’s weapons will require regular Smithing Stones to be upgraded, many of the armaments acquired through bosses' remembrances will require Somber Smithing Stones.

A major difference between Somber Smithing Stones and the regular variety is that players only need one of each rank to fully upgrade their armaments. Additionally, equipment that requires Somber Smithing Stones is only upgradable to +10, meaning players will only need 10 (one from each rank) to max it out.

In this guide and walkthrough hub, Elden Ring players can learn everything they need to survive in the Lands Between and become the next Elden Lord.

Since this process requires so few materials, it is possible to upgrade a Somber Armamament to +9 at the very beginning of the game without having to kill a single boss, and it is also important to note that you can buy the first few ranks of Somber Smithing Stones from Master Iji without having to find a single Somberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing.

However, when you do have them, the Somberstone Miner's Bell Bearings can be given to the Twin Maiden Husks in 's Roundtable Hold to allow you to buy Somber Smithing Stones.

Each rank of the Miner’s Bell Bearings will unlock two ranks of Somber Smithing Stones, but the last will only unlock rank nine, as the final material required to upgrade an armament fully, the Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, cannot be repeatedly bought in. The Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stoneis one of the rarest upgrade materials, as each playthrough only provides the opportunity to find a total of eight.

Smithing Stones, materials for upgrading gear in Elden Ring, can be found in multiple areas, and players can farm the stones in specific locations.

The first Miner’s Bell Bearing can be acquired by defeating the Fallingstar Beast in the Sellia Crystal
