Elden Ring Player Finds New Cave After Playing for Over 400 Hours

An Elden Ring player has come across a new cave in Limgrave, and what's surprising is the fact that they found it on their sixth playthrough. While many players use New Game Plus runs to try out new weapons and builds,Elden Ring is one game where players often find new intricacies in almost every subsequent playthrough.

The hype around the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is drawing a number of new and old players back to Elden Ring. Considering that historically, Souls games have had significantly harder expansions, fans are already fine-tuning their character builds to gear up for The Land of Shadow. Some new secrets are being unraveled in the process, with a possible reference to Messmer in Elden Ring's Mountaintop of Giants map being one of the most interesting ones. Amid that, a player has highlighted a surprising discovery they came across.

In a new post on the Elden Ring subreddit, b1ackjack_rdd reveals they came across a unique cave while on their sixth run and after playing the game for over 400 hours. The place in question is the Highroad Cave which can be found in the Limgrave region of Elden Ring. To reach it, players will need to head to the Saintsbridge Site of Grace which is right ahead of the Warmaster's Shack. From there, once players drop from the bridge, they will be able to spot an entrance on the base of the cliff which leads them to the Highroad Cave.

What makes the Highroad Cave extremely difficult to find is that the entrance is amid a vast cliffside, and it's almost camouflaged in the surroundings. Not to forget, right after reaching the Highroad Cave Site of Grace the path forward almost seems like a dead end, but players should drop down to reach the interior of the cave. Despite being quite easy to miss, players consider it one of the best caves in Elden Ring.
