EA Sports College Football 25 Teases Team Builder & Dynasty Changes In New Update

Just a few days after its massive launch, is already looking into making some massive changes to one of its most popular game modes as the team shares information on some of the known issues. Despite earning plenty of praise for its in-depth gameplay mechanics and management systems, some users have taken issue with the simulation engine used to govern the Dynasty mode. With many complaining that the logic driving the mode is fundamentally flawed, EA Sports is responding in turn by reassuring the community that it's evaluating the problem.

Posted on the official EA Sports blog, the development team notes that while Dynasty Mode is meant to be a fluid, dynamic system that provides every player with a unique journey with their selected team, some things need to be adjusted. The developer is looking into fine-tuning the Super Sim Logic program, especially after many players noted that the system caused FCS schools to consistently upset too many Power 5 schools. Additionally, recruiting logic is also being adjusted and various small fixes for a variety of bugs are also in development.

EA Sports recently gave an in-depth look into the newest game mode for College Football 25, Road to Glory, which gives players an RPG-like experience.

While the big takeaway from the EA Sports blog post is that the Super Sim Logic is being examined after community feedback, the team also confirmed that various smaller issues will also be fixed in the forthcoming update. Some of the issues currently under investigation include a Team Builder team defaulting their cleats to Adidas in Play Now and the second custom image layer not appearing on the field. Speaking of images, some teams, including Stanford, UMass, Western Michigan, and Jacksonville State, have incorrect logos, which will be amended in the future.
