Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC Teased in New Capcom Survey

With the release of Dragon's Dogma 2, Capcom has launched a new survey to gauge public interest in DLC. Dragon's Dogma 2 has been released to widespread acclaim despite some issues involving its framerate and microtransactions, so it's no surprise that Capcom may already be considering releasing a DLC expansion down the road.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has only been released for a week and is already setting records on Steam. However, Dragon's Dogma 2 has also faced a review bomb due to various issues. Capcom addressed Dragon's Dogma 2 player backlash and promised future updates to the base game. And now the publisher has also issued a Dragon's Dogma 2 survey, which will help it identify other areas for improvement.

In addition to collecting player feedback, Capcom's survey on Dragon's Dogma 2 also teased DLC. As VGC pointed out, a section in the survey asks if players would be interested in purchasing DLC and how much they would be willing to spend to acquire this extra content. The questions imply that this survey is asking about a DLC that would add new gameplay scope to the game and not just more convenience microtransactions like the fast travel items in Dragon's Dogma 2.

In the past, Capcom released Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, an expanded version of the original game that added more endgame content and a different ending to the Arisen's journey. It's possible Capcom will consider something similar for Dragon's Dogma 2, or maybe the game will get a more traditional kind of expansion.

Interested players can contribute to the Dragon's Dogma 2 survey by providing feedback on their overall experience with the RPG. Despite some complaints, Dragon's Dogma 2 has been mostly well-received and is considered a worthy follow-up to the original. If Capcom continues to improve Dragon's Dogma 2 with new updates, the game could solidify itself as one of the biggest action-RPGs of the year.
