Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date to be annouced next month

Dragon Age: The Veilguard‘s release date will be announced next month.

That’s according to BioWare in a new blog giving updates on the game. Next month’s update will also include a roadmap to launch, and more information about the game.

BioWare recently announced the primary voice cast for the game. In a blog published ahead of a character panel at San Diego Comic Con on Friday, the studio confirmed a number of the actors who are helping to bring new and returning faces to life in the latest entry in the RPG series.

BioWare also said it has many more characters and actors to introduce, including other returning ones, but that it’s holding off doing so in order to avoid story spoilers.

EA announced last month that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released this fall / autumn. The launch window was confirmed alongside a new trailer for the game, which premiered during the Xbox Games Showcase.

VGC attended a preview session for Dragon Age: The Veilguard earlier this year. In our preview, we said that it could be BioWare back at its best.

“There was some understandable sour faces following Dragon Age’s showing at the Xbox Game Showcase, but we’re very happy to say that they are unfounded,” we wrote.

“Our demo was exciting, and engaging and made us desperate to see the next 50 to 100 hours of game. No Guardians of the Galaxy dialogue, no weird versions of pop classics, just a hulking Bioware RPG, something that’s been sadly missing in gaming for too long.”
