BioWare's fantasy RPG series offers a wide range of classes and playstyles, each with unique benefits and drawbacks. Combat and gameplay have evolved throughout the series, from tactics-based gameplay to more action-focused combat. At times, this can make it difficult to determine which class best fits each of the games.

All three games feature three broad character classes to choose from: Mage, Warrior, and Rogue.
