Disney Speedstorm Season 9 starts next week, is based on Pirates of the Caribbean

The ninth season of Disney Speedstorm will start on August 13, Gameloft has confirmed.

Season 9 will be based on Pirates of the Caribbean and will add four characters from the movies, only one of whom has been confirmed so far (Will Turner).

The game launched with a Pirates of the Caribbean track and two characters, Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann, meaning the new season will add to these.

It will also add two new racers mid-season (though it’s not yet clear if they’ll also be from Pirates of the Caribbean), as well as a new track and an expansion to the existing Pirates of the Caribbean track.
