Diablo Immortal's 'The Crucible of Justice' Continues El'druin Questline, Adds New, Rewarding Co-op Mode and Legendary Gems

Diablo Immortal’s next major update, The Crucible of Justice, is coming September 11th, with a new chapter of the main questline, new Legendary Gems, new Vanguard co-op mode, and more.

So you’ve found and retrieved the angelic sword El'druin, and discover that you cannot wield it. This  has become a source of great torment and it is now getting even stronger. The sword is rejecting the darkness in your body and mind after the Worldstone shards were shattered. No wonder you can’t wield such a weapon as the Sword of Justice this way. This will be the central questline and you will have to travel to the Cold Isles and fight to stop this torment from taking over and destroying you.

The update also includes the new Vanguard co-op mode, which challenges teams of four in objective-based runs. The objectives could be things like escorting an artifact or taking down a Helliquary Boss. Different objectives unlock on different difficulty levels and there are five initial objectives to discover. Vanguard will also offer new tools and mode specific skills to enhance your build. The only way to enhance these skills is through playing more Vanguard

Higher difficulties correlate with higher rewards, so you should keep that in mind as the hordes of demons are coming at you from every direction as you try to complete your objective. Some of the rewards include off-hand and main hand items through which you can acquire new Helliquary Affixes. These are of types originally wielded by Helliquary bosses, And once you acquire them you can use them anywhere in Sanctuary. 

There are three new Legendary Gems on the way — the five-star Wulfheort, two-star Cold Confidant, and one-star Entropic Well. Wulfheort  is going to be sought after.  When equipped, deal damage to get Savage Heart for 6 seconds, marking enemies.
