Diablo 4's Latest Blog Update Previews Post-PTR Changes Coming in Season of Hatred Rising

Blizzard laid out the details for what’s changed since PTR in Diablo 4’s Season of Hatred Rising. The new season goes live alongside the game’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, on October 7 at 4PM PDT.

One of the major changes is that all Paragon Levels that players earn will now be shared on all characters as long as they are on the same Realm and mode.

Blizzard’s also made some adjustments to Masterworking materials. Going forward, Obducite will be the only Masterworking material. Ingolith and Neathiron are no longer available. Obducite will also drop only in Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, and Vessel of Hatred’s Undercity. It previously dropped in The Pit. Players who already have quantities of Neathiron and Ingolith will be able to transmute these materials into Obducite at the Alchemist.

All of Diablo 4’s classes have also received a new Paragon Board. The new boards all feature a new Legendary node and additional Normal modes meant to expand the Legendary’s Glyph’s range. Rare Paragon Nodes have received a number of buffs to make them more attractive. Lastly, only five Paragon Boards can be equipped and this includes the player’s starting board.
