Destiny 2 Warlock Turns Themselves Into a Turret From the Portal Series

A Destiny 2 player managed to combine their love of the game with their passion for another series, turning their character into a turret from the legendary Portal franchise. Despite limitations with Destiny 2's armor system, the dedicated player was able to faithfully recreate a turret from the Portal series of video games.

Destiny 2 allows players to customize their experience, giving them three unique classes to choose from: Warlock, Hunter, and Titan. Choosing the right Destiny 2 class is crucial, with each class playing differently. Weaponry and class builds are a crucial part of the Destiny 2 experience, but so are Destiny 2's visuals, with the game allowing players to customize their look with tons of armor combinations. Certain armor sets have become iconic over time, with popular Destiny 2 armor pieces returning to the game recently. However, it's just as popular to mix and match armor pieces from different sets in order to create a unique look.

Thanks to Destiny 2's vast amounts of armor pieces and shaders, Reddit user RawffleWaffle managed to turn their Warlock into a turret from the Portal franchise. The player shared their creation online in the DestinyFashion subreddit, a hub dedicated to fan-created Destiny 2 armor combinations. «Boots of the Assembler makes me feel like a turret, so I became one haha,» jokes the player, sharing several images of their impressive creation online. While not identical to a Portal turret, the player's Guardian design is incredibly reminiscent of the iconic enemy, featuring a red orb in the center and stark white pieces of armor throughout.

Along with images of the character, as well as an image of a turret from Portal, the player also shared exactly what other players will need in order to recreate this look. In order to recreate a turret from the Portal franchise, players will need the following pieces of armor: Insight Vikti Hood, Channeling Wraps, S'phtish Robes, and Streetscholar Bond
