Despite Shutdown Looming, Warhaven Gets New Soldier, Hatchet, and Valentine's Weapons

Despite Nexon being in the process of shutting down Warhaven in April, the game has just gotten a brand new character, and Valentine’s Day event. There’s also a brief update on that shutdown process too. 

If you missed the news, Warhaven’s short life is coming to an end on April 4th. The Nexon team is currently finalizing some rules around refunds for those that qualify for the process. When the team announced the closure they stopped all WP charges, but it seems details on refunds are close.

Since then, it has been clear that Warhaven had a few updates waiting in the wings, including a new character, and new items. Hatchet, the new soldier, attacks via well, a giant hatchet he swings vertically and horizontally, with the additional use of gauges to use special skills to finish off enemies. His passive gauge is Greed, filling up as you play and available to use for special skills.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Heartflame Festival is here. Complete quests to earn some event points to exchange for items from now through February 21st. The team has also added a series of new cosmetic weapons all available for 0WP and themed to look like sweet treats. If you have ever wanted to use a giant lollipop as a shield, stab someone with a chocolate covered dagger, or have your Bard play some devastating tunes on what looks like a dipped donut, now's your chance.

Looks like Warhaven is still offering some fun for its last two months.
