If you're stuck on who to try, it's always good to fall back on the best-ranked characters in the current roster.

Rather than all characters having access to all skills at the start of a match, like howhandles heroes, characters can upgrade their abilities over the course of the match by stepping away from the fight to purchase said upgrades.

When you enter a match, you are not restricted by any specific type of character. You have access to whichever of the 21 heroes you can claim first. Each hero plays well and can be used effectively in a match. However, the higher-tier heroes can prove useful in a wider range of situations than their lower-tier counterparts.

Out of all the S-Tier heroes, Seven has one of the highest win ratios, angling close to a 60% win percentage across the entire beta test. However, all 21 heroes float fairly evenly around the 50% mark, showcasing their effective balance. There are no bad options in this game; play the character you like the most and hone your skills with them.
