Cyberpunk 2077 Players Finally Settle The Biggest Choice In Phantom Liberty

, as with many RPGs, is all about the choices players make and their consequences. This continued through its expansion,, where players had to make a major decision about whether to side with the Federal Intelligence Agency (F.I.A.)'s sleeper agent, Solomon Reed, or his former netrunner protégé, Song So Mi (aka. Songbird) who seeks to be freed from the NUSA's clutches after being used to tap into the Blackwall for President Myers' personal needs.

A recent poll on the LowSodiumCyberpunk subreddit showed that the majority of people who took part betrayed Reed and freed Songbird during, with them explaining why in the comments. Out of 169 total votes, 108 players opted to betray Reed and free Songbird, and 15 opted to turn on both, betraying Reed while also turning in Songbird, with comments explaining that Reed killing two people to infiltrate a base was a moment they lost trust in him, and others pointing out that Songbird was using V for her own gain as well. 40 players chose to betray Songbird, with 19 killing her, and 21 capturing her shortly after. Six players made the interesting choice to ignore the paid expansion story entirely, leaving President Myers to die in its opening moments and leave Dogtown under the rule of Kurt Hansen.
