Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting Even More Immersive Later This Month

When it comes to providing a deep, authentic audio experience, most developers who have it within their budget incorporate Spatial Audio to make their games sound even more lifelike, allowing players to experience sound from a variety of in-game locations at once. The result is a soundscape with layers, one that enhances the sense of depth of game's world and, by extension, players' positions within it.

Over on the official CDPR blog, the developer announced that its working with Embody to create an Immerse Gamepack for , allowing those who purchase the software on June 20 to enhance Night City's sounds more than ever.

Much like the company's Immerse Gamepack, this program brings a personalized Head Related Transfer Function (HRTF) to while also incorporating Head Tracking technology to ensure audio is always accurate to one's surrounding. That may not sounds like much on paper, but the illustrative demonstration of the system makes Night City feel more alive than ever.
