Creative Destiny 2 Player Makes Their Titan Look Like Batman

A Destiny 2 player has brought The Dark Knight of Gotham City to the Last City with a new Batman-inspired custom costume. The player replicated the iconic DC superhero's look using the built-in suite of outfit customization options available in Destiny 2, bringing an approximation of Batman into the ranks of the Guardians.

Any game with deep enough character customization options will eventually inspire its players and fans to start recreating their favorite characters. Destiny 2 is no exception, and its potential continues to grow, as developer Bungie adds new cosmetic options for players to use (and purchase) regularly. Players have recreated classic characters, like Bungie's own Master Chief from Halo, but also even recent designs, like the Super Earth soldiers from Helldivers 2.

The Batman design seen in Destiny 2 was created by a user on Reddit who goes by Spidercides. In a post on the DestinyFashion subreddit community, Spidercides shared their results, which use the armor ornaments employed by a Destiny 2 Titan Guardian to approximate a more armored-up version of a Batman design. Given the Destiny 2 Titan class' natural affinity for bulky, armored outfit design, the look almost seems like it could've come out of the best fight scene from Batman V Superman.

Spidercides also shared the parts they used in creating their customized Destiny 2 Batman outfit. Two premium items, namely the Nemean Helm and the N7 Plate from the recent Mass Effect X Destiny 2 crossover update, played key roles in achieving Batman's unique silhouette. Meanwhile, Kabr's Brazen Grips from the Vault of Glass Raid and the Retro-Grade TG2 arms copied the «bladed» look of Batman's gauntlets and his bulky boots, respectively. The monochrome Erebos Glance shader gives the outfit a dark color, but Spidercides also used the yellowish Skele-Ghaul shader with the Legacy's Oath Mark to copy Batman's iconic utility belt.
