CM Punk returns to a WWE game for the first time in a decade

WWE Games has released the first footage of CM Punk in WWE 2K24, marking his return to WWE video games after a decade.

Punk (real name Phil Brooks) will be added to the game as part of the ECW Punk Pack which includes The Dudley Boyz, The Sandman and Terry Funk, alongside CM Punk. The DLC pack will be available from May 15.

CM Punk last appeared in a WWE game in 2014’s WWE 2K15. He left the company in 2014 under controversial circumstances, however, due to his inclusion in the game’s showcase mode, 2K was unable to remove him from the game at the time.

CM Punk returned to the WWE in late 2023, and his first televised match was in January 2024, the 2024 Royal Rumble. His attire as part of this DLC pack is based on that appearance. It’s currently unknown if he will have alternate attires.
