Beginning February 22, the Epic Games Store is giving away for free, though it appears this wasn't the digital storefront's initial intention. EGS typically gives away one free game per week, and platforming fans who haven't yet dabbled in will soon have the chance. will remain free for an entire week, until February 29, after which it will be replaced by next week's game.

is already listed as "" on the Epic Games Store's Free Games page. The indie platformer had an initial release in late 2020, but only for the Nintendo Switch and PC. A wider release came a few months later in 2021, and a mobile port in 2023. The original is one of gaming's most important indie titles, and has become something of a classic in the platforming genre following its release in 2010. Its sequel,, is not quite as widely beloved, but being free on EGS is sure to attract new players and fans.
