Castlevania Dominus Collection brings all three DS Castlevania games to modern formats

Konami has released Castlevania Dominus Collection, its latest compilation of classic Castlevania games.

The compilation brings together the three Castlevania games released for the Nintendo DS:

Two bonus titles are also added: the original arcade version of Castlevania called Haunted Castle, and a reimagined version called Haunted Castle Revisited.

The collection is available to download now on Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam at a price of $24.99 / £19.99.

Each game features new quality of life features including quick save and rewind. Given that the games were originally released on the DS, players can also choose from numerous layouts designed to show the dual screens in different setups.

The collection also includes a Gallery mode featuring unreleased artwork, developmen sketches, the original manuals and packaging artwork, along with an Encyclopedia mode and a Music Player.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow was released in 2005 and has players controlling Soma Cruz, the reincarnation of Dracula. Soma has to defeat a cult which is trying to kill him and use his body to revive Dracula.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin was released the following year and is set in Europe during World War II. Players can switch between two characters, Jonathan and Charlotte, and use their combined powers to takle down Dracula.

Finally, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia was released in 2008 and takes place after the events of Symphony of the Night. Players control Shanoa, a member of an order set up to defeat Dracula following the disappearance of the Belmont clan.
