Capcom Confirms Dragon’s Dogma 2 To Get New Patch For All Platforms

Capcom has confirmed that Dragon's Dogma 2 will receive a patch on all platforms and a PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced patch after the console was announced yesterday. Although Dragon's Dogma 2 is a beloved game, it isn't to say it's without issues. There are a couple of performance issues due to how realistic the graphics are, making it a little bit difficult to run on PC on any high settings, regardless of how powerful your rig is.

Capcom confirmed this patch after Sony announced that the PlayStation 5 Pro will cost $700 and will have a list of first- and third-party games with PS5 Pro Enhanced updates when the console comes out in November. So far, up to 50 PS5 Pro Enhanced games, including Dragon's Dogma 2, are available at launch.

"We will soon be releasing an update for all platforms that will further improve CPU load, reduce crashes and bring additional adjustments. Further details will be announced as soon as they are ready," said Capcom in a statement on social media.

Despite the issues that Dragon's Dogma 2 has had with performance and trying to get the game to run smoothly regardless of platform, it has been a huge success for Capcom, and sold just over 2.5 million units in 11 days, despite the huge amount of controversy that the game had upon release. This wasn't just due to
