Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Releases New Update

A new update has just been released for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. This update brings several quality-of-life improvements to the game, as well as a variety of bug fixes. Players hopping into a Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile match already have access to this new update, which was released on May 6.

Activision officially launched Call of Duty: Warzone back in 2020, with the game successfully carving out its own space in the competitive battle royale genre. Activision was able to use the well-established Call of Duty brand to launch its own battle royale game, offering players a tight, action-packed first-person-shooter experience that feels familiar and also fresh for both new players and veterans of the series. Warzone was eventually announced for mobile devices and officially released in early 2024. Continued support and content updates for Warzone, including new operators, weapons, and maps, have helped maintain hype for the game, with the most recent update specifically targeting glitches and gameplay improvements.

Official patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's May 6 update have been released online, with several issues being addressed head-on. In terms of core gameplay and visuals, several glitches have been fixed, including a bug that caused the names of popular Warzone locations like Verdansk and Rebirth Island to appear blurry. A bug affecting operators not showing the correct character has also been fixed, as has a bug affecting the JAK Glassless Optic that caused the blue dot to vanish while aiming down sights. Changes have also been made to a variety of weapon models due to a glitch that displayed lower-resolution versions of the same models.
